What can we do about it?

Change your definition of knowledge.

You can't keep up with change if you don't understand it.

To thrive in the face of change start by understanding your own knowledge.

Take control of your relationship with the assumptions, knowledge and tenets that affect your organization both outside and inside your walls and the rest will follow.

Reliable knowledge does not come from looking for reasons to think that your ideas are correct. Rather, reliable knowledge comes from actively looking for reasons that your ideas are wrong!

“I know” means “I have tried my hardest to show that an idea is wrong, but so far have failed.”

At least that’s what should mean to you if you want to thrive in today’s world.
